Unnamed game (Codename: Riddled Haven)

The information below is subject to change:

This will be a TDS game. Gameplay-wise, I'm aiming for non-linear gameplay; each level will have certain objectives to be met as well as an alternate "quest" or two, similar to Crysis. In addition, the game will feature a bioware-RPG style dialogue system and alternate endings.

Otherwise, it will mostly be a standard TDS. It will feature a smaller, but more varied, arsenal than Rogue Gun, and I might also include an inventory system ...

EDIT: 7/19

My current GM project is called Rogue Gun. Its a 2D sci-fi shooter, featuring many planets, enemies, and weapons, as well as solid characters and story.

William Clayton was bred by the empire to be a soldier. Formerly a special operations agent, he betrayed his squad when it was ordered to fire on his own family. He's become a rogue, and as he learns more about the evils of the Empire he decides to ...

Rogue Gun: Sequel or Length?

Read about the problem in the main Rogue Gun thread first. Then respond. Thanks!

Options:

Cram the entire plot into one game: It'll be closer to commercial length, definately finish the story, and I won't have to worry about making a sequel I don't want to make. But it'll take an extra month or two of development time.

Have a sequel, and improve the original gameplay: The original will be finished quicker, the original gameplay will be much improved in the sequel, but the sequel may ...

Top-Down Shooter

Sometime within the next week I plan to start making a game. But I need some help with ideas.

Basic Overview

The game will be top-down shooting. It will all be controlled with mouse to avoid hassle. Saving enabled. Enemies will exist in three primary groups: Red, Blue, and Green. The groups will affect damage ratings. For example:

Red > Green > Blue > Red

Enemies will also have differing levels, each color group with identical levels. The player will switch their shields ...

Lines

This is what you get when I get bored at three o'clock in the morning. Lines is pretty simple. You move the line's end point up and down to avoid the walls. As of now it features 6 levels and 4 different line colors...or does it???? Maybe you should look around carefully... The menu is kinda whacked, isn't it?

Pixelian: My first Blitzmax game!

I am working on my first Blitzmax project! It is a remake of Pixelia, my first successful (in my eyes) game with Game Maker. It is called "Pixelian" after Galaxian just because I did not want to have two projects filed under the same name.

It renders SUPER fast compared to Game Maker... but it is also a lot of work to do; I mean it takes some time getting used to. Here's a code sniplet to show you what I mean:

Code:' -------------------Bullet

Type Tbullet Extends Tgeneral
