Good jazz artists?
Zandair I know you listen to jazz or something like that. After hooking up a (tube?) amp I found around the house and plugging them into my DT770s, music sounds MUCH better now. I have no clue why I didn't check out my smooth jazz collection earlier on this set-up. If you know what the term eargasm means (that rush you get when hearing something so good it relaxes your entire body), well I've had a lot of it after listening to some jazz on this rig.
So... what are your favorite jazz artists? You know much more about this sort of music than I do. This music will be great to listen to when I'm stressed. Preferably happy stuff.

I don't listen much to to smooth jazz, actually. My favorite Jazz artist is Charles Mingus, and his stuff is really edgy.
Favorite albums:
-Mingus Ah Um (Charles Mingus) Contains "Goodbye Porkpie Hat", a well-known piece.
-Blues and Roots (Mingus)
-Compact Jazz: Charlie Parker (Charlie Parker)
-Time Out (Dave Brubeck) Contains "Take 5". You'd probably recognize the sax riff if you heard it.
-Kind of Blue(Miles Davis) Regarded by many as the greatest jazz album of all time.

Ok thanks. I'm not desperately looking for more jazz, I've got access to this internet radio thing I'm paying for (and it's well worth it) that gives me access to a few jazz stations (as well as a lot of other stations of course). If I was going to buy an album or two, I'd look at your list
