So I met a Warcraft addict recently...
I was at a friend's house a few days back, and I met his little brother. He wakes up, gets some food from the kitchen, goes back into his room, and never comes out. He's flunking school, and his social skills are only so-so. He didn't even say hello to me. You find a stranger in your house, and you're not even curious at the very least?
So, I've actually met a video game addict. And it was a terrible sight to see.
The guy's been given one life, and he spends it without feeling, without thinking, without experiencing a thing. I never really thought about what it meant to be doing that with your life before.
And his parents are paying the subscription. It'd be so easy just to cut it! Do they even realize what's happening to him? They're afraid that, in the short term, he'd throw a fit. But after a few months of living a better life, he'd get over it.
I'm kinda worried about Aaron (Ultimate Agent). I logged back on Steam for the first time in months and checked out his time log. He spends 13 hours a day playing Team Fucktress 2.

WoW is the video game equivalent of heroin. I just hope Diablo 3 doesn't become the next WoW, because I actually want to play that game.
His parents need to stop being pushovers and sell his WoW account on ebay
I actually can't play games for more than an hour at a time because I feel like I should be doing something else more important. The only time I play games is when I need something fun to do while listening to music, and even then playing games is rare. I like music a lot more than games.
