Post  Alex on Sun Dec 16, 2007 3:26 pm

EDIT: 8/11
Current demo:

EDIT: 7/19
My current GM project is called Rogue Gun. Its a 2D sci-fi shooter, featuring many planets, enemies, and weapons, as well as solid characters and story.

William Clayton was bred by the empire to be a soldier. Formerly a special operations agent, he betrayed his squad when it was ordered to fire on his own family. He's become a rogue, and as he learns more about the evils of the Empire he decides to take matters into his own hands.
While assaulting an Imperial base in search of the Emporer, Clayton fights a strange shadow monster and discovers an ancient portal device. Portals which begin a massive struggle between multiple warring factions...
With help from a pilot, Jack, and an alien warrior, Clayton sets out to prevent all-out war and dehead the Empire.

To fight his enemies Clayton will use weapons ranging from rapid fire shotguns to grenade launchers, and use hardware including super-shields and alien "freezebombs". He is outgunned and severely outnumbered, and will need to effectively use whatever is available to survive.

I remember playing it, very well done. Do you want this to be the first official Zandair Studios team game?

Looks good. I can't believe you can't find anything on Newgrounds to fit your game. Try all of the genres. Do you plan on making this a commercial game? Do ZS members get a free demo? Very Happy

lol!

Freeware. Going into all that commercial crap is fustrating and just not worth it since people won't buy it anyway.

Good point. Where can I find Dead Cell? Or at least the demo? Is it a restricted demo?

I'll give everyone a demo of the full first level sometime this month...
I would like some team assistance in this game, but I want this to be mainly my project. What I need:
-Music: I'll keep searching Newgrounds, but if you want to make your own that will be very helpful.
-Graphics: I'll need some help with the cutscene graphics, what I came up with doesn't look very good. I'll cover everything else.
-Other: I might need help with coding, but if you have a good planet/weapon/level/enemy idea, I'd like to hear it.
Because the game takes place in many worlds I can pretty much cram almost anything in. Not that I will.
-Register-er: Because this is made in the free version of game maker I might need to send it to someone who can create an executable without that logo that pops up when the game loads.
So you could consider this an official team project if you want.
Oh, and its freeware of course.

I'll be a secondary coder, I'll do the menu.
I'd also like to be the register-er and I'll help with graphics.
