Dang..that just makes me want to get our new computer even quicker. I should probably be worried about my hard drive crashing. We've had the same one in the same computer since 2003. I could try using the back up drive, but it wouldn't hold everything...

Its become apparent that the sixth weapon in the arsenal, a tranquilizer gun that reduces enemy speed and aggression, is about as useful in the world of Riddled Haven as a tuna with a rusty fingernail file duct taped to it.

I thought that a flamethrower would fit into the game very well, but then the arsenal is too similar to your standard FPS/TDS loadout (Pistol, assault rifle, shotgun, sniper, grenades and the blaster is a rocket launcher in disguise).
I was wondering if either of you guys had any creative ideas for a new weapon? There's nothing wrong with tried and true weapons, but something novel would be more welcome.

Some suggestions... just brainstorming
-Crossbow with the arrow tip on fire like in Timesplitters 2.
-Lightning gun like in Quake 3
-Minigun
-Spider mines like in UT. You plant a spider mine and it will chase enemies down and explode in their face.
-Dual pistols
-Remote mine like in Goldeneye for N64

Hmm..I'll think of some ideas, but I don't know what I'll come up with.

Hm... a weapon with homing projectiles would be cool...

A minigun that shotguns homing projectiles that ignite enemies... sweet...
Thanks!

EDIT: Actually, I just remembered that I already made the graphics for a remote controlled rocket launcher...
heck, I'll add both!

How about a incredibly accurate and powerful gun that when you fire it sends you barreling backwards. That would be interesting.

The speed at which it propels the player would make it handy for dodging enemy fire...

Minigun that fires homing incendiary shotgun shells with high kickback... how else can we pimp this gun?

only way the gun could be more awesome is if it had ***** and is on fire

-Zero Punctuation

Here's a cool site if you need royalty-free sounds: http://www.soundsnap.com/ (you have a limit of 5 free sounds a month, but hey that's 5 more sounds you had 10 minutes ago)
